Mike Cotton is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. As a child he was exposed to some of the biggest names in Show Business. During the 1950’s his father Joe Cotton owned and operated one of the hottest Night Clubs in the Southeast. “Joe Cotton’s” was located at the corner of Peachtree and Baker in Downtown Atlanta. Mike got see the performances and meet many of the Legends. Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Andy Griffith, Xavier Cugat, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Piano Red, Martha Raye, Bucky Pizzarelli and many more.

By the late 1950’s the Cotton family moved to Miami. South Florida had a growing Music, Television, and Movie Production Industry. By Junior High (Middle) School he was leading his own bands and was getting gigs in Film, Radio, and Television Projects.

In the early 1990’s Mike relocated to Pensacola in the Florida Panhandle. At this point “Mike Cotton Productions” was Producing and Promoting National Concerts, Festivals, Night Clubs, and other Projects. This was when his Digitizing Business really took off. “MCP” now has Clients Nationwide. This part of his business converts/transfers almost all Old Media ever invented to DVD, CD, and Drives.

In 2010 Mike met the Award-Winning Producer Dave Barnes, who had relocated from Chicago to Pensacola. To date Mike and Dave have partnered on hundreds of Video / Film Projects. Documentaries, National News Stories, Music Videos, Corporate Films, Commercials and more. They have Produced Projects throughout The U.S., South America, and Southeast Asia.
